Helping Hand Center provides Residential Housing Services to adults, age 18 and over, in homes in the community. We have a variety of Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILAs) in South Suburban Cook County. Each home has between four and eight residents, with a mix of men and women as well as skills and interests.
CILA residents receive complete and individualized residential services, personal support services, and supports under the direction of a community support team within Helping Hand Center. Each resident works with a dedicated Case Manager, whom acts as a liaison with the family and assists the individual with setting and achieving goals.
Fully supervised group living allows individuals to live with their peers and develop a support system while continuing to maximize their independence. Our housing options emphasize community integration and strive to accommodate residents’ individualized needs.
