Subcon Packing & Assembly specializes in labor-intensive hand assembly jobs.  It assists companies in need of additional resources that need to be completed in a timely and cost effective manner.  It employs adult clients who have developmental disabilities, but also utilizes some non-disabled production workers to provide assistance.

Our clients are provided with work in a safe and secure workshop. Job coaches are available to help them realize their highest level of independence and, in some cases prepare them for jobs outside of the workshop.

Volunteers will perform various assembly work that needs to be completed and assist the production supervisor and staff as needed.  Volunteer shifts are usually from 10:00am - 2:00 pm

 

Volunteer Requirements:

1. Complete a Volunteer Application

2. Complete and pass a background check

3. Complete the required online training (aprox. 2.5 hours) at our Countryside office

Hours of Operation:

Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
