Afternoon & Weekend Recreation
We offer multiple social and recreational programs for individuals with disabilities. Participants can join the programs at any time, as we have open enrollment throughout the year.
Current programs include:
Cooking – Participants learn basic kitchen skills and prepare a meal to enjoy together in a fun, social setting.
Social Activities & Outings – Participants enjoy a variety of social activities, such as going to the movies, attending community events and playing board games in a fun group setting.
Music – Participants engage in singing, dancing and music-making with our talented musical staff who accompany them on piano and guitar.
Arts & Crafts – Participants create varied art projects from painting to sculpture to sewing with colorful products they can take home to share.
We also offer our afternoon and weekend programs for area high school students.
Individuals can join our programs at any time by contacting our Intake Coordinator. Enrollment for Afternoon & Weekend Programs is on-going and fee-based. Programs take place at our main location in Countryside.
