Client of Adult Services

Day Services

Our Day Services emphasize choice and independence.

Clients can choose from a variety of groups, including art, music, cooking, computer skills, current events and life skills in our friendly and supportive environment. We also provide community outings to enhance socialization and community integration.

Most of the individuals who attend our Day Services also choose to work in Helping Hand’s own business, Subcon Packing & Assembly, where they gain valuable work skills, as well as a pay check.

Our clients also enjoy their social time at program breaks at The Hand Stand, a lunch café operated by clients from our Employment Services.

Transportation services may be available. Many clients also take the bus through PACE, which operates a stop just steps away from our building.

Clients who participate in Day Services may also be interested in our other Adult Services, such as Employment Services, Housing Options or our Afternoon & Weekend Programs.
