The purpose of the music program is to use the elements of music and music experiences to further develop individuals on a variety of levels that will assist them in achieving their highest level of independence throughout their lives. These music experiences include behavioral and improvisational models of group music therapy, recreational music experiences through themed curriculums and performance group opportunities

Musically Fit
Provide music accompanied physical fitness experiences that increase range of motion, increase gross motor movement, increase fine motor movement, and improve the overall wellness of the individual.
Music & Relaxation
Increase sensory integration, increase opportunities for positive sensory seeking behaviors, increase relaxation responses in relation to anxiety
Music Therapy A
Increase expression through listening to music and creating music, increase social skills through group music making experiences, increase leisure skills by participating in live and recorded music experiences. Increase communication through music by using each consumer’s natural communication methods
Music Therapy B
Focus will be given to working with other group members to create a musical composition.
Music Exploration
This group will expose individuals to a variety of styles and genres of music in order to work on areas such as expression, cognitive skills, participation, recognition and communication.
