Library

The purpose of the library group is to connect individuals with everyday personal, community and world events and experiences through the news, stories, and drama exercises. The library group also focuses on developing and maintaining literacy by reading stories, plays and poems. These readings also assist individuals in learning about themselves and life by relating the information as a metaphor for daily experiences.

This group will focus on reading, writing, and geography as well as other academic skills.

Individuals work together to make the Helping Hand Center client newsletter with jokes, an advice column, sports section, and updates on other goings on in our adult program.
