Computers

The purpose of the computer groups is to teach individuals basic leisure and functional computer skills such as typing, printing, e-mail, computer programs, and internet use.  In addition, the computer program aids in identifying and providing technological support and adaptations for physical limitations.

Basic Computer Skills

Individuals will learn basic skills that include turning the computer on/off properly, using the keyboard and the mouse and navigating the internet.

Environmental Focus

Individuals will learn about the environment through computer research and will apply their knowledge by planting and taking care of our garden.

 

Computer Games

Individuals will learn to play simple computer games using the keyboard or the jelly switch.
